Article 1
Visiting hours
1. The building is open for tours on the last weekend in March and from 1 April to 31 October. The last weekend in March and the months of April and October are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 12 noon and from 1 pm to 5 pm. In May to September, it is open daily except Mondays from 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 5 pm. Tours outside opening hours can be booked in advance. The price is 10 x basic admission for groups of up to 10 people. Over 10 people, each additional person is at the price of the basic admission; always without entitlement to discounted or free admission.
2. The last tour can be taken from 16.30 pm.
Article 2
Admission
1. The amount is indicated on the museum’s website.
2. In the case of cultural events (concerts, Museum Night, etc.), advertising and marketing events (organised by the Museum or other organisations) or in other specific cases, the admission fee may be set specifically for that event.
3. After paying the admission fee, the visitor will receive a ticket. Visitors are obliged to keep the ticket for the entire duration of the tour and present it again for inspection if requested.
4. The ticket is valid for only one visit to the building. Purchased tickets cannot be returned.
Article 3
Visit
1. Mass tours can be arranged within the visiting schedule for a specific day and time only after prior written or telephone agreement with the RML administration. If the booked tour does not report at least 15 minutes before the agreed time at the ticket office of the building, it loses the right to a priority tour of the building.
2. Children under the age of 10 may only enter the facility when accompanied by an adult.
3. Visitors are obliged to follow the instructions of the guide during the tour.
4. Visitors are not allowed to enter the exhibition and exhibitions with umbrellas, luggage, bags, briefcases, etc.
5. RML’s liability for any damages incurred by visitors is governed by generally binding regulations.
Article 4
Protection of cultural monuments and equipment and security of collections
1. Visitors are obliged to obey the instructions of the building staff. Failure to obey instructions or orders issued in the interest of visitor safety and property protection will result in the visitor being removed from the premises without refund of the admission fee and being required to leave the premises immediately. In addition, the visitor exposes himself to the risk of penalties under generally binding regulations.
2. Persons who are drunk are prohibited from entering the premises.
3. Visitors in heavily soiled, inadequate and inappropriate clothing are not allowed to enter the building.
4. It is forbidden to damage or endanger the object, its collections and other property on the premises of the object in any way, in particular:
- Touching the walls, exhibits, switches (e.g. lighting) and projectors.
- Writing or painting on or otherwise damaging the walls and walls
- Disturbing noise (music, singing, loud speeches and similar activities)
- Eating or drinking indoors outside the designated areas, entering with ice cream, drinks, etc.
- Smoking throughout the premises, handling open flames and lights throughout the premises.
- Bringing dogs and other animals into the building or letting them run loose.
- Otherwise disturb the peace and order.
5. Photography, filming and other documentation is prohibited in the interiors of the building or in other marked areas.For scientific, documentary, promotional, or other purposes, the RML management may grant an exception upon written request.
6. The visitor is liable for violation of the visitor regulations and for damages caused to the building according to generally binding regulations.
Article 5
Final provisions
1. The founder of the Portmoneum — Josef Váchal Museum is the Regional Museum in Litomyšl (RML), Jiráskova 9, 570 01 Litomyšl, ID: 71191283, tel: 461 615 287, email: info@rml.cz, www.rml.cz.
2. Visitors can submit their wishes and compliments, complaints and comments in writing in the Wish and Complaint Book, which will be presented to them on request. In addition, the visitor may contact the operator’s headquarters as per point 1.
These Visitor Regulations come into force on 14th March 2017.
